Just a few "cleaning day" pics (some ot)

rainbowsrus Dec 10, 2008 12:07 PM

as if cleaning day wasn't every day!!!

You can't get any fresher just shed than this one, One of my Savannah x Fluffy BRB babies (#7)...

Eve (my only WC BRB) shed but was not in a stay put mood so only got one semi decent pic...

Pumpkin, one of my holdback BCI's from my Candy x Reeses litter. (the pics w/out flash are closer to actual colors)...

And did a BCI group pic.....

Chip, Pastel Salmon (CA-RE-05), at the top,
Tommy, Pastel TH Motley Ghost (VA-HN-01), towards the left,
Pumpkin, Pastel Salmon (CA-RE-11), towards the right,
Luna, Moonglow (CR-FI-01), duh, she's the white one in the middle and
Juliet, Hypo Cyclone from Bob Mcphee, at the bottom.

Awesome pictures! I love Pumpkin. What a great looking snake (as they all are)!
And your BRB pics make me think about getting a couple of them! I've never asked, how are they to work with? I've read that they are a bit nippy. Is that true?

LOL, I always get that question and yes, AS NEWBORN BABIES, they are very nippy. Once a month of feading/cleaning etc. has gone by they are for the most part settled down and are totally fine to work with. In many ways much easier than a boa, They never get so big and heavy that they are hard to pick up out of the cage. But they do tend to be a more on the move snake, not one you can set down and walk away from and expect it to still be there.

I have many (very many ) and while I do have one or two I have to check mood on, most of them it's just reach in and pick them up. BTW, I also have a BCI or two I have to check/watch and they pack a much bigger punch then the BRB's!!!!

This is my favorite BRB picture, I call it rainbow soup....

WOW! Thanks for the info and the picture. That solves another criticism sometimes heard about them that there aren't enough colors/morphs. Those things are beautiful.
Now the wheels are really turning!
Thanks again,

Those hypos are amazing. I can't wait to see what you get from those pairings. I also think the high orange are especially nice.

As always, beautiful shots! (maybe you can come take some pics of mine! LOL)

That fresh shed BRB and holdback reeses kid are stunning and love the group shot. It's so hard to pick a favorite, Pumpkin really jumps out at me.

Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy seeing your pics.
Have a wonderful day!

Thanks April, I love taking and sharing them. It's amazing to me how simple it really is. Good lighting, some willing subjects, a fantastic camera and voila!

I have it on good authority, Santa is bringing me some nice upgrades for my camera setup. (I ordered the stuff myself) Currently running a Canon EOS20D with a grip and several really nice lenses. Memory is a 4 Gig micro drive CF card. Santa's bringing me a new camera body, EOS50D - 15 megapixel, a new 8 Gig top of the line, super fast, CF card and a 1TB (yes, one tera byte) external USB drive for backing up all my thousands of pics. Santa thinks I've been a really good boy this year!!! Shhh!!!

Luna's always gonna stick out to me, a super bonus baby. I really thought her mom was not gravid and out she popped!!!

Sweet, congrats on the upgrade! A little birdie told me I'm getting a new camera for the holidays but no where near that caliber. I'm itching to get it and try it out.

I got a couple 'gifts' for myself too, picking up 2 corn snakes on Monday (butter motley and sunglow motley) and two AP 4x2 cages in Jan. I know I'll like those presents!

I don't know why my dad laughs when he asks what I want for Xmas and I tell him snakes with links to your and Matt's KS ads. Oh well, maybe next year. Silly dad, he just doesn't understand.

Take care,
-April

Yeah, that's the hard part, knowing you have this cool new toy and not being able to play with it..... 15 days!!!!

You just need to work on dad and remind him that gifts are for the reciever and should be what they want!!!!
