Odd looking normal... Please comment

fatjay Dec 10, 2008 04:18 PM

This snake is not mine, but is offered to me for trade or cash. I know she's a normal, but something about her just strikes me as different. Any thoughts?

I plan on purchasing/trading for her regardless. Sorry the pics are blurry.

Shes nice looking but Im guessing a nice looking jungle or labyrinth pattern but smoking looking non the less. If I were you I would breed a YB male to her.

Thanks for the comments fellas. I'm going to breed her to my pastel male, as he's the only male I have of breeding size right now. She's definitely a looker, thats for sure.

Do you guys think it'll be worth holding back one of her male offspring, and breeding him back to her? Or do you think this is just some randomly pretty normal, and nothing more? I'm not trying to say that she's anything more than a normal. Its just that I've never seen one like her before. Either way, she's definitely worth the 75 bucks I'm gonna pay for her.

Thanks again!
JaY

Jay it couldnt hurt to hold a male back from her. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. I'm not getting my hopes up yet. Chance are its probably just one of those unproven, random classic jungles that I've read about on NERDs website.

I have a pastel female with a similar pattern. If you get any pastel offspring that retain that pattern they may look something like this.

Don't go looking for snakes--you might find them.

Nice! Thats exactly what I'm hoping for from her when I breed her to my pastel. Although, I'm told she was bred before and produce 6 completely normal looking babies. Either way, it won't hurt to try.

I have this Het Green Ghost pair, with similar markings. The first clutch was only a few eggs, but none looked like the parents....
