Why I love snakes

Tim21087 Dec 11, 2008 09:00 AM

Today I woke up to find Elvis sitting on my kitchen table. He managed to get hair all over it and the couches, which are black and show every speck of his orange hair. He also likes to dip his foot in his water while drinking so there are wet kitty prints all over the glass top coffee table and end tables and on the kitchen table. To top it all off he vomited in the middle of the living room. I'm hoping that my stain remover can get it cleaned up or else I'll have an ugly catbarf stain to look at and show off to guests.

In comparison, Serenity was on a branch in her cage basking under the heat lamp looking awesome. And Tempest was hanging out in her humidity hide. I take this one experience to show you why snakes are the greatest animals to keep in the house.

Tim that was exactly the medicine I needed after last night! I love my snakes! Sometimes I wish they were better at cuddling and wouldnt try to eat my birds, but I wouldnt give them up for the world!
THANK YOU!

Why is the coffee table so far in the middle of the room?

I get ya on that one. Don't get me wrong, I do love our cat and dog but each comes with it's own issues. Yeah the snakes have their own issues but unless I open the cage, those issues are fully contained!!!

AND, I don't have to make any special arrangements to be gone for a few days to even a week. Every time we go away, dog goes to the kennel and have to get someone to come over and check on the cat. The snakes stay right where they are.
