Update On Albino Super Motley Project

fgs Dec 11, 2008 01:55 PM

First photo is of my albino motley lovin on my motley het albino. Second photo was taken 10 minutes after her POS. If I'm really lucky I should have a small litter of boas around the end of March.

WOW!! the possibilty of producing black and white boas from the same litter just blows me away.

I wish everyone a great season

Congrats, Brian! Now the waiting...arrrrggghhhhhhh...

Just curious, you say are expecting a small litter, may I ask why? I am lousy at judging size from pictures, is the female on the smaller side? Or, maybe her it's first litter?

Congrats again, I know the aniticipation has already started for ya!

Mark:

The reason I say small litter is because this will be her second year producing. Last year she gave birth to a litter of 10 live, 1 still born and two slugs. She's not a huge girl. I would be very glad to see a litter of around 20 or so babies this time around.
Here is a photo of most of the hold backs from her 2008 litter.

I hope you're having a great season

Very nice, Brian! I think it always nicer to produce a high quality litter like that than one of high quantity! Best of luck with her!

I hope she drops some nice babies for you Brian. You'll have to bring them to the next herp party, so we can play poker for boas lol.
