sean0411 Dec 11, 2008 04:59 PM

Just arrived from fedex, Natures Spirit Incubator. Construction is spot-on and it is way better in person. Here are a few pics, enjoy.

One thing to beware of is too much moisture in the enclosure. A buddy of mine had problems with that. Keep eggs on the drier side for sure! Best of luck with it!

Matt, im a little confused by what you mean. The eggs will be in an egg box. Where the hatching medium will be and where the humidity is generated. The incubator is basically the heat source. Am I missing something, let me know.

Also price is no secret, just go to their website nsreptiles.com, its $375 shipped. I bought a helix from Reptile Basics. I get all my supplies from them including the hatch-rite I also purchased. I figured I'd give it a try.

awesome! im totally gonn aget one in the future. beware with hatchrite i just tried it on my first clutch and they began drying out.. soo unlike they say you might have to add a lil water just keep an eye on your eggs once you place em on it.

Nice choice. Those are good incubators, It should work well for you. I've used one for a few years and it's worked perfectly.

Did you get the Herpstat with it, or does it work fine with just the Helix (they sell)?

I guess what I'm asking, is: What did you have to buy, besides the incubator its self?

Thank you,
Ken

Very nice build, but way too expensive for a plastic incubator that doesn't come with the Helix or Herpstat.
