The local Linen & Things here in Concord NH is sadly going out of business and is selling everything including all their really cool shelves so my son & I stopped by today and picked up a huge 'pillow holder' (for lack of a better description). There's more than a $100.00's worth of 5/16" thick plexiglass (if I were to buy an 8x4' 0.25 thick sheet at Home Depot). Here's a pick of it with my son Chris finishing putting it back together and his friend Mike inside. It was originally marked as $75.00

The wood base is on wheels. We'll probably go back for more plexiglass to put on the bottom and then rtv seal the edges.
We need to make a wire mesh lid and do some more solidifying construction and a few doors - there's all sorts of layouts that could be constructed from it. We lucked out!

If there's a Linen & things near you, get there real quick!

there was a slightly bigger one with full metal strip corners and base. There is one more like this one there and the pic didn't show the full plexi divider that divides the thing down the middle.

hmmmm thats an idea...havent thought of checking out the stores that are going out of biz and get their products...what are you planning on putting in there?

btw, i love his shirt...what does the front of it say? lol
