How many people here keep/breed argentine boas? Why does it seem they are just not that popular in the Boa world?

How many people here keep/breed argentine boas? Why does it seem they are just not that popular in the Boa world?

Actually, they are (popular), especially compared with previous years. It seems to me that dark coloured, locality boas need more time to become popular among herpers. Older breeders certainly remember that Argentine boas were almost unsaleable a few years ago. Or F.I.: dark Peruvian redtails were also unwanted in the past, but now these more melanistic specimens get more attention. To tell the truth, most of us prefer rather light coloured animals. However, there are keepers who like dark specimens as well(including myself).
Just my opinion.
