Does it hurt if the mouse aint dead before he eats it? (fuzzie)

my snake eats his fuzzies sometimes stil breathing becuase he cant get a good grip around it. I need to feed him fuzzie's because thats all i have (about 10 of them) and need to get rid of them asap.

im tlaking about its still alive when the snake eats it, does it hurt the snake. i dont care about the baby mouse being hurt, its the food chain.

Isn't that a horrible thing to say. Snakes have to eat- true, but it's just wrong not to care about the mouse's pain. Why wont you kill the mouse before feeding it out? It's really easy, safer to the snake, and more humane to the mouse. I do it by putting it in a paper bag and hitting it against the ground a few times. Sheesh. Got-to-end-message-must-go-on-rampage-hate-mean-sickos-

My first message on this board and it is to critisize. What a wonderful way to start out.

No, the snake will be fine. I have one snake (an intermittantly picky feeder) who will swallow fuzzies whole and they kick around in his stomach for a few seconds. If the fuzzies have their eyes open I'd be a little more worried, because of the possibility of a bite.
