How long does it normally take....

How long does it normally take food to go through a beardies digestive tract? Just curious because my beardie at a rather large meal today and all she had to show for it was a little poop, which I presume was from yesterdays last meal. Should I worry?...she ate this meal say 10am and the lights went out at 1030pm. His basking temp is 115f and the cool side is 80-85. She looks plump and I gave her a warm short bath in water about 100f to see if that would do anything.

First thing I'd do is decide whether it's a male or female (you call it both in your post) .

Second, you need to give her at least an hour after eating before the lights go out so she has time to digest all the food.

Third, I would assume it takes a day for food to go through them, but I'm not sure on this one.

On a side note, if you ever do have problems with her not pooping, a warm bath will work. I have proof now. My male hadn't gone in a while, so I put in in a warm bath today (in my bath tub), and he crapped all over the place. I was relieved (as was he), but it was quite disgusting.

HAha, thanks for your reply. It's a SHE and her name is Giblet. She does tend to poop more in the morning so hopefully I'll come back from class and find a smelly surprise tomorrow. Thanks, just kinda worried since she did look somewhat plump today.

my guys poop in the morning no matter what.. haven't ever really had a stubborn pooper... but from previous poop experiences it takes about a day for me to find a gaint suprise..and its always in some weird place as well..like food dishes or behind the sand box or under a plant leaf.. apperently my beardies don't like to go out in the open
