Zombie Mice?

This might sound a little wierd so bare with me. I've got a het-pied male that doesn't seem to want f/t so I give him live. This morning I put one with with him and watched, he poped the fire out of the mouse and the mouse's eyes bulged like normal, then he released about 1-2 minutes later. The kicker is, before he could start to eat it, the mouse started twitching, jumped up and ran to the other side of the tank! HE wouldn't touch it after that, so I tried to kill the mouse myself and it looked dead again. I put it in the tank and watched. Again the mouse starts to twitch, and eventually jumps up! So since the het-pied isn't eatting I thought I'm going to get rid of this guy for good. I put him with a boa I have thats never turned down food, and the same thing happened! Only thing thats different this time is the boa followed him to the other side and made sure he was going to be lunch! My question is anyone ever see this before? I've been raising snakes for a few years and I've never came close to this, lol. Anyway I almost thought about saving this little critter for a breeder male and breeding my own mice.

Ive had something kind of sorta of like this. I have had a snake kill a rat or mouse and not eat it so I pull it out and offer it to another animal that usually NEVER turns down a meal whether live or dead and they wont touch it. Or if the feeder has been in the tub with the snake to long I think it starts to smell like the snake and then another snake wont hit it. But thats just my opinion I dont know how true it is. But I ALWAYS find someone that will eat it sooner or later after its been back in its holding tub with the other feeders then offered again later.

It just blew my mind that even with the eyes bulged it still could live, three times! I've heard of a guy drowning before and just before being loaded into a bodybag his heart beat starting back. It's just freaky when you see something weird like this.

Crocodiles are great for getting rid of the mouse that none of the snakes will eat!!
