Anyone out there working with these? Here is one I received some time back from Dan Mulleary of DM Exotics. The pair is coming along nicely. I would love to see some pictures posted of other long tails if you have them....

I've been working with them for a while now nad got some weird things showing up. so far I have produce 3 anery hypermels and one hypermel all males 2 in 04 and 2 in 06. they take about 6 months do really show the hyper condition. last season I breed the hyper to his anery sister and got 11 babies. one weird lighter colored one that doesn't look like anyother one i have seen one tail stripe (the mother has a small one) it looks like a number of the babies are hypers but it while be a couple more sheds before they really change color. heres a pic of the 04 hyper anery next to a yellow phase from the same parents
heres the anery stripe tail from this year.
They are both awesome, but that Hyper is dynamite....
fingers crossed

Good luck with the breeding and thanks for posting.....Have a great holiday season....Larry

Here are some holdbacks, the hypo animal is one of several in the litter that I kept. Two of them are a silver/hypo color...I cannot wait to see what these phreaks turn into...

a number of the wild caught adults turned out to be anerys and hets for anerys. I know Lincoln, Rosen, Meade and Meltzer all produced first generation anerys from wild caught adults. Meltzer originally called them silver phase longicauda.
I had a brilliant silver male from Hamper in the late 90's.
He sold it to me with 2 others (2.1). All different. He never mentioned Anery. Should of kept it.
