green anaconda finally ate

RL Sep 08, 2003 10:24 PM

my ten foot green finally ate tonight. I removed her soaking tub and added another hide box at the cool end of the cage and she goes back and forth spending about a day on each end. I gave her about a week to adjust to the new setup then I offered her a F/T colossal rat and she took it right away, then she had another when it was gone. Hopefully she will continue to eat and get her weight back, I know she had to be close to death.

RL,
Glad to hear it. Your set up must be good as it appears as if she has adapted to it fairly quickly and is much less stressed. Hopefully she will keep it up and put on some weight. Thanks for the update.
