i have taken care of my 1 1/2 year old carret tailed gecko, and she has shed just fine. she just shed and i saw that six toes did not shed. i dont know what to do, she wont let me touch or try to soak her feet in water.

i have taken care of my 1 1/2 year old carret tailed gecko, and she has shed just fine. she just shed and i saw that six toes did not shed. i dont know what to do, she wont let me touch or try to soak her feet in water.
Soak her in warm water - shallow (just enough to cover the feet and lower legs). If she wont stay put...then use a tupperware container with a lid on it.
After this take her out and use a q-tip to help pull of the skin, or let her walk through your hand and roll the toes between your thumb and forefinger - gently removing it. It may well take several soaks to complete.
Do you have a humid hide in the tank?

To prevent this in the future make a moist hide.... just keep a tubaware filled with moist moss, vermiculite, or paper towels.
