You asked, you got 'em!!! This is the albino florida dekay's. For anyone who doesn't know... I recieved this wild caught snake from Scott at the Daytona show and I could not be more please with how well this little snake is doing. Someone gave it to him
thinking it was a garter snake. It's growing very well!!

Shannon,

Very nice, it's growing like a weed. This snake was very tiny as a neonate, it was literally around 2" long, if even that long. Have you sexed it yet?

Scott

I'd drive my Xena out to Shannon's house for a breeding session.

Hahaha, it's really too bad that they are different subspecies... they would make a good couple XD!!!

I haven't actually sexed this snake yet, the snake is entirely too flippy and still having such a small thin tail I am honestly afraid to injure it.... I won't worry about sexing the snake until it is breeding size and I DO hope it's a male so that I can get multiple litters of hets the first year!

AmandaTolleson Dec 17, 2008 04:59 PM

I hope so too Shannon!! I will certainly buy some from you. =D

boxienuts Dec 19, 2008 12:42 PM

That snake has really grown, the color is great. Thats a great project, i would think you wound have no trouble selling offspring. I hope he/she makes lots of babies for you and for the hobbies sake.
