Pinto Pieds

dwherp Dec 17, 2008 10:04 AM

These two crazy looking Pieds hatched from two seperate Albino Pied double het X double het clutches. They are half siblings in that they have the same father.

Hope you enjoy,
Dan

God I love these!! I had commented before and I still can't help but think its a paradox (paradox het pied and visual pied). But how the hell does that happen TWICE?? Maybe you have something?!? I hope so, because I love it. It so different and beautiful...

Simply gorgeous Dan , just for info, Vin Russo has already taken dibs on the Pinto Pied name.

dwherp Dec 17, 2008 11:10 AM

Thanks for pointing out my error. My apologies to Vin. I wasn't aware that the Pinto Pied name had been taken. I'd thought originally that I'd call it the Painted Pied but knew that it might cause confusion with the Paint Ball. For now I'll just stick with PWCS (Pied With Crazy Splotches).

they are odd.......the left one is sweet as all......

...wierd how the colored parts don't get the black outlining like most all pieds......

sweet deal........breed alot more......looks like you are going to have a whole new pied to throw out at the market......

......proving normal pieds are the best pieds.........no need to cross purple passion calico polka dot into them......

....

Those are exceptional! I really like the color without the black as on most pieds. Congrats

Those little specks are termed 'ticking' in piebald dogs. It is common and amt of ticking can be selectively bred for or against...in dogs.
