Forgive my ignorance (keep in mind I am originally a dart frog guy), but how easy is it to locate their eggs-- in other words, if they just randomly lay in the dirt, will you ever know?
Best,
Justin

Try to be looking for them around the moist areas. Anoles will lay their eggs in moist places so that their eggs can recieve enough moisture to survive. Or if your substrate's filthy enough, you can change it, and while you're on the progress, you may be lucky enough to find one.

Look in hiding places such as behind rocks, under leaves, etc. The place will probably be humid and mostly unbothered. You won't have to dig or anything because they're placed on top of the dirt.
Mark the tops and make sure you don't tip the egg whatsoever. Then go online and find at what temperature they have to stay at. Keep them very humid (90-100%) as well.

...the humidity should be air humidity, I forgot to mention. You wouldn't want the ground too soggy
