Brazilan Rainbow boas

terryd Dec 17, 2008 05:51 PM

While working in Brazil on the Amazon I found a Rainbow boa one day in the jungle, but I didn't have a camera w/ at the time, and had to commit the experience to memory.
My friends have heard me tell the story of finding that boa many times. Well last year one of them gave me a pair for Christmas, nice huh. I've really enjoyed them over the last year.
Well here they are a year older.
Female

I'm not sure which head shot I like best. Which one would you pick?

Male

Both head shots are very nice, number one has a better background and angle, more BRB behinde the head but the head is less in focus than shot number 2.

And the male is good looking as well.

What very nice friends you have!!!

Thanks for sharing and stick around, this is a really nice forum, lotsa nice folks and very little drama like you see on most other forums.

Thanks for the warm welcome Dave.

I keep a good size NA milk collection, and have been lurking this boa forum once a week or so. Everyone seems really nice and helpful here. Thanks again.

I'm with Dave on this one - the first shot is a significantly better angle. Beautiful boas, BTW.

Very nice. Reason I ask is that one day I'd like to have a collection of black snakes. I already have an Indigo, and I think it would be neat to add a black milk, black king, black phase hognose, black rat, etc.

Thanks,
Ed
