I've been scouring the net trying to find a girl for my guy! Now, I run across this "dealer" that says he has what I'm looking for. Of course, I'm all excited...but, wow, this is difficult. This guy knows of some here in FL...but the person in FL that has them is also a "dealer" that won't "split ship". He actually wants to ship them up north to the guy I've been talking to, then have him ship them to me. WOW...don't think so...fat chance on the cham's surviving two back to back shipments...at least that's the way I feel. So...I've been trying to get him to tell me where in FL this guy is, and maybe I am close enough that I can pick them up. No luck yet...and if he won't let me, oh well...I'm not buying a cham that has to be shipped twice (once out of FL and once BACK to FL! LOL!) in order to get to me, and on top of that has no guarantee of live arrival. I can only hope that they end up in capable hands...obviously this "dealer" doesn't give a squat about them.

So....after all of this, I'm wondering if there is anyone here that is desperately looking for some? IF (big if) I can get this guy to allow me to pick up, I could ship them out myself. Sonia...would you help me? LOL!!!! No, seriously, I'm sure with all of the helpful info on these boards that I could figure it out. Right? C'mon...have a little faith!

Anyway, just thought I'd vent/ask/see what you all had to say about this...

Hi there!

I love the Carpets too! I just hatched out a clutch of babies, still way too young for leaving my house but looking strong and feisty and will need homes one day. If you are interested in a lady Carpet when the time comes send me your contact info and I'll keep you on my growing list of "Carpet Seekers".

PS. Not that I'm any pro, but don't be tempted by any deal that seems the *least* bit sketchy. In my desperation to find Carpets I negotiated with someone in FL who wanted to "deal" by skimping on shipping by sending my chams in two-day mail. Yeah right! That's looking out for the animals' welfare! And after losing too many WC to a myriad of problems (mouthrot being the #1 culprit, despite *extensive* vet care) I am resolved to only buy CB from now on, even if it means I go months to years without having any Carpets in the house! WC are just too heartbreaking. So all Carpet breeders, please keep in touch!
