Hey guys I was just wondering about how big do black rough necks get? I'm looking to get a baby soon that's why I'm asking because I have plenty of cages left over from my snakes that needed bigger cages, so I'm just thinking ahead. Also I worked in a pet shop about 2 years ago and that was when I got a baby savannah and fed him crickets for about 2 weeks and was annoyed because he & crickets were kept in my room so I started feeding him pinky mice instead; I did have to get rid of him because I didn't have time to properly take care of him. Any what I'm asking is it alright to feed a black rough neck like this if I can?

Hi,
They will be around 4 feet on avarage, some a little bigger, some will stay around 3 feet. You will need a 8x4x6 cage for them as adults. I keep mine on mice and roaches and are doing fine so far. you can feed the juvies mice too.
