Suriname is very confused...

I think she's having an identity crisis...LOL...how do I tell her she's not a tree boa?

This is a 2001 Suriname female I picked up from Ed Lilley/Constrictors Northwest. She certainly seems to like that shelf I put in there. It's actually just a piece of scrap plywood, but there's a towel hanging off a bit, which is why it looks rounded...I used the towel to give some traction for her to grab onto when she climbs...

The shelf was a prototype, but I like it...I think I will eventually put these in all my plastic cages. I made it so I can slide the shelf all the way out of the cage, if it's in my way or needs cleaning. And it makes good use of the extra space above...

Going to get some hides for her too...just need to find something that will fit her...she's a big girl!

Here's a few pics of her from earlier this year...I really like this girl's pattern To me, she's what I love to see in a Suriname...

thats very interesting, i have a pair of peruvians and they like the shelf so much that they hardly ever go off of it, i had to attached their water bowl to the shelf so that they could find water easier, btw your boa is very nice looking.

Please share your carpentry skills. So sturdy. How fashioned/fastened?
