I'm wondering what the environmental impact is of snow in Nevada. As I type this it’s a mere 37 degrees in Las Vegas!
How does the Desert tortoise fare in a snowstorm? How about Gila Monsters? How about the geckos? How about some of the delicate songbirds...I know it's a reptile message board but it's still concerning!
Gosh the forum is slow. Normally its a lot faster in the winter months. I am very interested in hearing an answer to your question as the Great Basin is one of my favorite spots to herp.
