Bearded Dragon or Leachianus?

deardedbragon Dec 19, 2008 10:01 AM

I've owned reptiles before and i want to get one now that i have a steady job. I just cant choose between a beautiful morphed bearded dragon or an awesome velociraptor looking rhacodactylus leachianus. I own books on both animals and would be able to take proper care of them, i just dont know which one to choose. Those of you that have owned both, could be you please tell me the pros and cons or just what you plain prefer?

I would prefer Leachianus. I have several dragons and they are fun and interesting, but require daily attention almost to a regiment. I have 80 geckos including the Leachianus in which they are hardy and forgiving to husbandry error. You are right that you will be spending about the same amount for either animal including setup. Either way they are both awesome animals. Hope this helps.
