Reticulated Python eyes

Helloe everyone,

I am new to this forum and i just posted a few days ago with no luck so i'm gonna try again. I need some help with a Retic i purchased awhile back. Now i attached a picture the seller had on his ad. It was sold to me a just a tiger. He stated that its 2yrs old and around 4 ft i measured and its closer to 5ft. I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts on the gray eyes. I researched and found that dwarfs such as Jamps have gray eyes. Could this be a tiger jamp? If indeed its 2 yrs old and only 5' long it was fed weekly (according to him?) Any thoughts on various hets that display gray eyes such as calico het or albino het or could it be locality? I might jus have to raise em and find out?

Thanks guys

Normal tigers can also have silver eyes its just not as common as orange. I think they look better without the orange eyes. And yes the Dwarf and SD localities generaly have green to silver but can also have orange eyes.

You could have gotten a dwarf tiger, who knows, and the question is are dwarf tigers really going to stay that small. Some say yes, and some say no. I have no clue, but as far as size goes, remember some people do not feed their babies normal because it costs them to much if they do not sell right away. Not saying everyone does that but some do. I always will pay a little extra to get from a repitable breeder, so I know what I am getting. Not saying you can't find a good breeder otherwise. Just my two cents.
