Day one before finding the second nest

Adding two more from the second nest (there were three more but one has been adopted).

so cute.
I have hatched out 8 now and there is a big difference in the shells. I have a pair of 3toe and 1 fl female in the same pen and there is a vast difference in color of hatchlings. But this last fl pair to hatch had coloration like the first fl hatchlings but their shells were shaped more like yours. Sorta flared out at the back. Maybe the fl mom has finally started using the sperm from the the 3toe male?
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to post the photos. For me it is always a hassle and I sure do enjoy seeing hobbyist photos.
Sincerely, Patsy

Ah, the sight of tiny baby turtles....wish I could have another!
Just kidding! The ones I have now will outlive me by 50 to 100 years and I will have to find homes for them, plus set up an financial arrangement for their care-hey-bugs aren't getting any cheaper, lol!
