Air pocket in armpit?

reptileguy2727 Dec 20, 2008 04:39 PM

I have seen a few leos with air pockets under their arms, right in their armpit and sometimes along the rib cage a little. It is a soft, air filled patch. They don't seemed bothered or in pain because of these at all. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on the cause?

Yup!

This is totally normal. Its another leo way of storing fat, much like they do in their tail. Its a sign that a Leo is nice and fat and healthy

But in the cases I have seen it will disappear depending on their position, then reappear. And it is softer than fat.

Im 99% positive what you are talking about is the fat pockets.

If its what im thinking of its a little "pocket" directly behind both front arms, is easily squished and very "liquidy" feeling.

If its not that then i have no idea
