alright, so im getting tired of buying aspen bedding, moneys hard to come by in this world now adays. Might be getting a bigger tank about twice the size also so thats another factor, hes trying to fit in with the shredded newspaper hes checkin it out right now.

also new pics of him, hes been growing about an inch-inch and 1/2 a month, and i think ive had him for 6 months. hes about 25-27" long..

so the new bedding....yes or no? shredded newspaper.

about 3-4 months ago...

I think the shredded newspaper is a great idea, and it gives the snake some burrowing room. The snake looks real good. Buddy.

Shredded newspaper is fine. I like aspen, but it's messy and has dust. You can see the sawdust/particles on the bottom of the cage after the aspen's been in there for awhile. I can't help but think that the snake is inhaling some of that. With newspaper you have a "dust free" substrate.

I like how the stripes on your king are all about even in width - it makes for a sharp-looking snake!

Those stripes make it look like a Rosy Boa!
