Well, my ultra nasty tempered '01 female Mexican Black (we frequently refer to her as 'The B!tch') has somehow escaped her enclosure...AGAIN!
This will make the second time this year she's done this and I am REALLY pissed. I have never ever had a snake get out on me more than once, I've never had that many snakes get out period, and only one of those is still missing (young male brooksi gone about a year). Well 2 now if you count her.
Once again it is a mystery just how she got out. She somehow had a little help this time, as I noticed one of the locks on her snap-topper plastic shoebox was unlocked. I know for a fact I didn't do it, and my husband doesn't mess with her at all, lol. But besides that she was on the bottom of a stack of 6 of said boxes, plus she'd just been fed the day before she went missing so was nice and plump. How she managed to push her way out of there with all that weight on top I do not know...WHY she even tried is the bigger mystery to me.
I have a suspicion that my little son may have unknowingly (he's 2) pulled out the lock, but how the heck did she know it was unlocked? She must have been watching...the evil little b!tch!!
Let's hope she turns up in one of my mouse tanks again when she gets hungry...this is the wrong time of year for her to be escaping for any length of time.
I'll keep you all posted.
