Whats up with my motleys ??

richie_rich Dec 20, 2008 09:51 PM

Ive been breeding corns for 2 years now this following season will be my third ... With that said im still trying to learn about the genetics and the color morphs of the corns ...

last year I produces this baby from a snow motley male to a normal het for motley at least that is what i was told .. so in the clutch i got some motleys and some normals ... it was a clutch of 19 and 5 of them looked like this, im not sure what to call them they look like lavenders to me but in the last to sheds ive noticed thst its been getting some peppering on its sides and belly ... i know motleys are suppose to have solid white bellies ... what do i call this ...

I also produced this girl last year from a diffrent pair and until about two to three months ago it looked like a common anery motley to me now about half of its body is almost patternless .. it had a white belly also , but it seems to be getting that peppering on its belly and sides ... would this be a vanishing pattern ??
