I got my first ball python and for the last few days i have been finding small hard white things which i assume are poop. He did leave a long brown one yesterday that was mostly fur but i have found 5 of the white things. a few before the brown one and now 2 after. Is it normal for them not to go all at once?

The "white thing" is a urate, primarily calcium, above and beyond the snakes nutritional need. The "long brown one" is a turd. Nothing out of the ordinary, nor to be concerned about.

Have you read a book about snakes? There are some good ones out there and I'd recommend getting one or two or at least reading alot of info from a good source. Hang around here and stay an active member in the forum, we like newbies.
