Snake Eyes!

mack1time Dec 21, 2008 03:14 PM

I have been wanting to put this thread together for a while now, and finally got my macro lens and extension tubes out to get some true macro shots up to 3:1 ratio. No cropping. Beautiful

Some say the eyes contain markers? To me they are truly amazing. The individual beauty in each eye is remarkable.

So here is my Gift to you all. Merry Christmas! Enjoy!

Motley het Anery

Jungle het Albino

Kahl Albino

Pastel Normal

Menelaus and Jocasta

I LOVE eye, tongue, and scale detail shots. So for me, this pic has it all!!!

Thanks for posting those!
BTW, I'm new with lenses, etc.. what are extension tubes?

I see you are warming up your dlsr. Nice pic!

JB, extension tubes attatch directly to your cameras housing and then you attatch your lens to the tube.

It puts your lens closer to the subject for even closer images, hope this helps, I am new to the dlsr as well and I have just found out about these tubes...I have one on the way.

Merry Christmas
Joel
