Put out boards, carpet ect (A/C Afterficial Cover) the year before so all the grass dies under them. In S.D. there are cracks on the ground so place the boards over cracks in grassy fields. This is called making your "BOARD LINE".
After you do all this work then protect your "board line" by not telling anyone where it is located.
Also try and find areas that will be bulldozed for future housing and development projects.
Febuary and March are the best time of the year to go board flipping and find kings in S.D.
haha no im not planning on digging them up thats a great risk of cutting some heads of
but i missed out last spring and summer so i was just trying to figure out how hard it would be to find them right now
during the day down here its lke 60 degrees i see a bunch of alligator lizards running around so i was just wondering if the kings would be out to
but yea imgoing to wait till feb
Good time to set up your "honey holes" for Feb.

It's kinda late to lay down some boards but you can try.
Make sure that other herpers cannot see them off the road or they will hit your boards.
