Hey guys im wondering If you have any ideas on how to make a rack that is fairly inexpensive i thought of one idea tell me if It would work or not.I have a fairly big Rubbermaid Storage Conatiner that has five droors If I wrapped this with Repti- Cable from Zoo-Med around It, would the plastic melt or would the palstic withstand the heat im just wondering because I don't want any accidents with baby leos in them Thanks, Josh

I made all of my racks myself using melamine from Home Depot (cut to my specs), and flexwatt heat tape (belly heat). The cost for building a hatchling rack came out to be around $50.00 (that's not including the thermostat). Just do an online search and you should come up with several ideas to go on. The hatchling racks I built are the ones I am most pleased with. If you wanted to use your idea of the heat cable, I would invest in a good thermostat to ensure it doesnt overheat. Here's a link to the one I used as my guide: www.arbreptiles.com/cages/rack.shtml
