Can I breed a Male California King and a Female Arizona Mtn. King? Or do I need to find a Female Cal. or a Male Arizona Mtn.? And if I can breed these two, what would you call the offspring?

You could breed these two. You would have to be careful and make sure one doesnt eat the other. You would probably have to have a male arizona king to get the female ready, then you would have to do the old quick switch and put the male cal king in with the female arizona.

The offspring would be a hybrid California king X Arizona king, and most people in the herp world shun these animals. Most people call them "mutts" and you will probably get ragged on pretty hard by some of the people who have very strong feelings against this.

I personally dont care either way, as long as the potential owners of these hybrid offspring know exactly what they are getting.

I have seen some pretty cool looking "mutts" out there.
Happy herping

First thing is why would you want to do this? Second is if it was meant to be it would happen in the wild that's not what breeding is about.
