snake eye.... immediate help!, please!

moserjbu66 Dec 23, 2008 04:55 PM

My blood python shed her skin today and shed both eye caps. Her right eye is now milky white and looks like skin is trapped under the new eye cap. Is this an infection of the eye. It is hard to describe and I am having trouble attaching a picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Take it to a herp vet for sure. This is not normal and there isn't much you can do with internal eye problems. Best case scenerio, it gets treated without causing problems beyond the sight in one eye. Worst case, it remains untreated, the pain and/or infection cause further, more systemic problems.

Good luck, if you need a good herp vet start at www.arav.com
