I am wondering about the hibernation cycle of an American Toad. We have 4 of them right now that were raised from tadpoles. I wanted to know if they are kept inside at room temperature if they will still hibernate. What are the signs of them hibernating? What are their eating habits during hibernation?
Any and all info on them would be greatly appreciated.
Also, we got in a shipment of red worms for them and I found a couple strange larva like thing in a container.
Here's a picture of it. Can anyone help me identify what this is?
