ATB teeth

Mike H. Dec 24, 2008 01:06 AM

Everyone knows, or has heard about, how large Corallus teeth are. This tooth came out of a 5' adult female who struck at the cage front...that's the other thing everyone has heard about - their attitude

Damm that is huge for a atb! I had no idea there teeth got that large. I had a 5' male northern tag me in the face about 8 years ago luckily it was a male and a feeding responce. If it would have been a female I may have lost an eye on the deal.

The bad part about Tree Boa's Vs. Boa constrictors is that they have much larger teeth..and the chances of getting bit is much higher! Though I do expect to get one soon
Thanks for sharing the pics. Just makes me want to get one sooner.

There´s some sort of underdeveloped venom duct on this tooth?
