Thanks, I also love donuts obviously, though I've never been a cop. Yea the photo kinda took me by surprise when I saw it too I didn't realize how much his log looks like the shavings lol. He was finally out and about so I figured I would take some snapshots, usually he just stays in his log all day, fat lazy sucker.

Haha, nope I ment Red, he's been overweight since I've had him, trying to slim him down but it's not like I can give him a wheel lol.
what about a few thick branchs up in the air in the cage to climb on. he might cruise them at night?

He has a large climbing log on the heated end of his tank but he seems too lazy to mess with it, he always ends up going around it and heading right back to his log.
HHmmm ok, when I had to retire and I was tested for a new job they labeled me a conceptual thinker. Plus a few other things lol
OK, you want the snake to move around more. he likes his hide but not a log. Solution! Make elevated hides? 2 hides one near each end. so if he wants to hide he has to climb into the hide.
Seems logical? HerpZilla new high rise hides that exercise your snakes! lol
it might work? Worth a try anyways.

Fuuny that came up. I have wanted to start a business for YEARS and have a lot of ideas for husbandry stuff. I never once thought of a elevated hide. LOTS of other cool hide ideas.
If it works please let me know.
