Hey all, awhile back I asked some opinions about shipping in cold weather to help make sure an animal got to me alive, and she did! I had a bit of a disappointment with the packaging, but the fellow tried to follow my instructions. I should've been more detailed, but I knew he had shipped before and assumed he knew to stuff enough packing material in with the animal to keep it snug. You know how those shipping folks like to toss packages around... well, despite the lack of packaging material and her being cold and VERY unhappy, the lil gal made it through and has since eaten a couple times. Lookin' better every day!
This is Andromeda, a little 2008 stripe (said to be genetic from striped parents)... I am in love with her despite her slightly faded/less defined upper pattern...



Sorry if her paper is a tad dirty, I wanted to get pictures before I changed the towels before she was agitated and moving around. I wanted to get pix earlier, but I wanted her settled in with at least one meal first...

I really did appreciate all the input on shipping her that I got a month ago, I am more than pleased to have her here safely and eating. I had to show her off, partially because I am biased about each and every boa I own, and also because I've always wanted a boa with a 50% of the body length or more stripe!
Thanks for the compliments... I plan on sharing more pics as she ages, boas sure do change a lot as they grow I can't wait to see her in a year!
