Hello all! I am happy to say that breeding was a success and it is QUITE obvious that my female is gravid. I understand that she will lay eggs either 1 or 2 at a time and anywhere from 3-15 times. However, how long will she carry them til she lays them in the nesting box? I check her like 3 times a day and I am sure that I am just impatient, but I thought I would ask so I can mark it on my calendar

They generally lay every 2-4 weeks once they start. I have a couple that lays every 14-17 days then I have one that lays at all different intervals any where from 2-5 weeks sometimes laying single eggs and other times 2.
(For those that might think there is something wrong with her don't worry she has been checked out and is in perfect health).

So really it can vary but generally in my experience but the rule of thumb is they lay every 2-3 weeks. I hope this helps. GL
