How much should a 13 ft retic weigh?

thomas j Sep 09, 2003 10:46 AM

My 14 ft burm weighed around 70 pounds or so. I know retics stay smaller than burms in terms of girth. What is a good weight for a 13 ft retic and when will she start adding girth. I am basically new to retics only keeping mainly burms in the past.Thank you.

i'd say anywhere in the 25-40lb range, depending on how much its been fed. A male may not be quite that heavy.

and 70 pounds would be kinda light for a 14 foot burm. You sure she wasn't heavier? I don't weigh mine very often, but 15 foot females tend to be about 135 pounds give or take 10. I often have had 13 foot females weigh in at 90 to 100 and not be obese. (makes me want to go weigh my girls)

True "power" is not to be found in social or economic placement or stature, which are merely illusory, finite, frail and brief.
True power is to be found in one's sheer will and personal determination to achieve one's goals at ANY cost and at ANY sacrifice.

So they are 30 pounds a piece. I will let them settle in and take them to the vet to weigh them.

My burms weight was 70 pounds when it came in. I did not get another weight on her so i used her shipping weight. She was probally heavier. When i get more room i will pick up more burms but for now i am in to retics. I got pigs coming every fri. I am also getting alot of rabbits and chickens.
