corn snake longevity

dixie2160 Dec 27, 2008 02:54 PM

I was recently given a normal, female corn snake. She was a cb baby in 03. How long will she live? What is the live span of a corn? Thx

The oldest documented corn lived for over 32 years, but most only live half that. I think there was a discussion awhile back on this forum of if anyone had a 20 year old or older corn and at the time no one participating in the discussion did. The oldest ones I've known lived until their mid to late teens.

I got a female hatchling in 1993 that I gave away this year, 2008. Do not know if she is still alive. She laid eggs several times. Last time 2004. She was 15 years old and still fat and hungry.
