Suri Enclosure New Shelf

rlafleur Dec 27, 2008 05:59 PM

I added a new shelf and decided to take a snap of it. I added the top shelf in the top picture. The pair of adults that live there are eating and are not in the picture. The adult pair stays together year round and has produced the last three years in a row since maturity. I don’t do anything special and every October or November she drops a litter. I know most people say not to keep boas together year round but they seem to love it and never seem stressed or try to get out, therefore never a nose rub. I am just a hobbyist and love my boas. The other three enclosures are for holdbacks until they outgrow them and then I will build another large community enclosure. If any of you have community set ups I would like to here about it.

Thanks,
Russel

That is awesome, I bet those suris love having you for their owner. This is way better than any commercial cage, they atually have room to move around and the fact that they readily produce for you is proof that your doing something right. Nice work, I wish I could do this for my snakes but I have 100 of them! Thanks for sharing.
