Carmel Pieds?

dragomlover Dec 28, 2008 02:04 PM

I have been looking all over the web but maybe I am just not hitting the right pages or breeders! But does anybody know if they have produced a Carmel pied yet? Or who would be working on a project like that? I can only find Albino Carmel Pied stuff nothing on just Carmel Pied's! Help from anybody would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

well if you are finding stuff on albino carmel pieds then that should be what you are looking for since carmel is the t form of albino.

caramel. oops

Sorry I put one extra word in where I wasn't suppose to. I know Carmels are T positive albino's. I meant to say "all I can find is info on Albino pieds".

ahh then in that case. No I dont believe its been done. I am sure many of the breeders who have the genetics to work with this are trying it though.

Well if anybody knows of a breeder who is working with this project please let me know.

I think I heard that Bryce Honstead or The Reptile Image is working on this project but I'm not sure how far along he is.

I own my own company www.CalicoDragons.com and will be making my own double hets soon enough and was trying to find other breeders with the same projects. To mybe do a double het swap later down the road and just to see how far they have come....

that would actually be a good idea.....
I was just joking at you .....
we all have no idea what any of us can afford...

I am actually amused at seeing like 16 year olds at shows buying like ringed pythons or womas just for fun snakes to have around.....15 years ago they didn't even know they exsisted and most of couldn't afford to get too many of them unless we planned on breeding them well.....

good luck.....there has to be ALOT of people out there with double hets in the works...it might turn out to actually be a good mix compared to alot of things people are breeding into the pieds......

I wonder what a Super Cinni caramel pied would look like. I in my mind picture solid caramel snake with the white from a pied. Would be a cool snake if its possible.

dragomlover Dec 29, 2008 11:05 PM

Ya I think at this point any double gene ball pythons would be pretty. And I have seen the albino pied. They are very cool but I thought the carmel would be much more interesting. Of course I would love a Banana pied as well But that will have to stay in my dreams hehe

Is this some new colour of morph? I know of the CARAMEL, but a CARMEL????

CrazyGecko Dec 29, 2008 12:41 PM

I think its just how some people miss spell it. I have seen it spelled both ways on different breeders websites.
