Post-brumation question

rtdunham Feb 07, 2003 09:42 AM

Since it's about that time of year, i figured i'd gather opinions on an annual task:

After bringing your milksnakes up to the desired post-brumation temperature, how long do you wait before offering them their first small meal?

thanks

ps: time to test a few features of the new forum system. If they work that'll be fun and useful; if not, you can give me the raspberry

peace!

I offer them their first meal 5 days after their heat tape is turned back on.
What about yourself?

I'll spend about a week bring their temps up from 60 to 80 and then probably feed them a day or two after reaching that maintenance temp. I start with a small meal, maybe wait 4-5 days, then start feeding more appropriate-sized meals, at roughly 3-4 day intervals.
