Housing question

Tim21087 Dec 29, 2008 06:18 PM

I've got a JCP that's about a year and a half old now. I'm going to start looking for a bigger cage to move her to. I was wondering how big of a cage does an adult female JCP need? Also if you have any suggestions for companies that make them please pass those on as well. Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give me.

I'd say a 4footer would be ideal. The 3 foot, 36" length cages would also probably do the trick if she doesn't get too big on you. If you're looking for something ideal, the 3footers and 4footers that have a bit of height, that have either shelves or perches would be great - watch them cruise around and get off the ground. ...lots of cage makers out there, and people have different preferences. The one thing to keep in mind when looking is consider how you're planning on heating the cage. Some cages have places for light bulbs, some have built in heat pads, while some don't have any heat, all up to your preference.

Hope that helps!!
