Color change in adult jungle carpet

mschumacher2008 Dec 29, 2008 09:39 PM

Hi...I've had a Jungle carpet for about a year and a half.

It has turned from bright yellow to a darker, less bright yellow.

I was reading some recent posts, and I assume that's normal right?

Is that a trait the carpet pythons have to darken at adulthood?

Thanks,

MS

I've noticed that they tend to get brighter up until sexual maturity, and then some start looking dull later on. It really has alot to do with the genetics, though.
