2008/09 Breeding Trials:

Ruben14 Dec 31, 2008 11:56 AM

Well, this year is off to an ok start over here. I put a few pairs together mid to late September to get things started and those first three have all ovulated and had their P.O.S. or will shed out any day now.

First is a female i've been waiting a long time to get some babies from. I'm sure a lot of you remember my nice 04 Anery female. Well I bred her to my Hypo Jungle male and i'm curently also waiting for her to have her P.O.S.! She went a day or two after the Triple het and the Hypo Besque girls but should shed any day now. I am very eager to see if I can produce more Anery's or even Ghosts that look like her. She's kinda dark in the pix from breeding and such but she still to this day gets really light and awesome looking even at 61/2-7ft. I'll probably ad some older pix of her in a bit.

The second breeding is one of my absolute favorites. I did Hypo Arabesque female X VPI male T pos. She should shed any day now with babies hopefully due mid April if everything goes ok. She ovulated pretty big so I hope thats a good sign. Please excuse the cage. I took the pic during her Ovulation and the male had been trying to get out for a while so he was all over her and the cage getting things dirty.

Third one to go,well actually I found this one and the Hypo Arabesque the same day, is Triple het Sharp female X Sharp poss het Snow male. I'm hoping he proves to be het snow so I can get my Sharp Snow and maybe even a Snowglow but i'll be happy with anything. This female is in the second pic.

Those are all I have in the bag as of yet but I have some other really nice stuff going on i'll post info about a little later.
I also need to put the above three males in with their second wave of ladies after they all eat and chill a bit.

Thanks for looking,Ruben

Right after I posted the above post I went in to see if the Hypo Arabesque or the Anery female had their P.O.S. Well, the Anery was right in the middle of shedding and the Hypo Besques just finished. The Triple het shed on monday so, she's due April 13th and the other two are due April 15th. Fingers crossed for healthy babies! How exciting!

Hey guy, how's things? Sounds like you are off to a killer start on your season!

I sure hope you have me down on a waiting list for a baby (or two or three) from that lovely anery girl. Just thinking about anery jungles from her bloodline, I am drooling already! An anery jungle is on my wish list, right below that anery girl herself. (you know I will never stop harrassing you about her right?)

Good luck with all the other pairings, the hypo arabxvpi t poss is gonna be one to highly anticipate!

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!
Take care,
-April

Hi April!,
I meant to reply to your Jungle post the other day. Nice Jungle!
I've been around just trying to keep things in order with the Boas and breeding season. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch but if she has a good healthy litter i'm sure they'll be something in there for you. This is her first year taking so we'll see what happens! We need to get Eddie to get another BBQ going soon!

Looks good. That arabesque x T is a really nice project. I applaud your confidence; for me they are not in the bag until they are on the ground.
Happy New Year and good luck with all of your projects.
