Helena1 Dec 31, 2008 05:51 PM

I'm sorry i posted that in the first place. I'm going to sell a lot of them and not get more. I didn't think it would be a problem. I didn't think i was that bad. Sorry. I was also not trying to to say "look how great of a keeper i am" I was just sharing, and i'm sorry i did.

Thanks for the people that were nice to me.

Hey ypu don't have to be sorry for anything.Don't give up what you love for what other people think or say. Alot of us where tring to help and other that had nothing else to do just took their personal problems in to it. If you are going to sell alot of them let it be because you want and not for post of some people. Good luck. (how is it having an adult blood)

Please do not feel that way there is nothing wrong with your post or your buying and selling animals. A lot of people do it. This is the best forum on the net regardless of how we acted today. My wife and I apologize to you for allowing our views, personal or other wise, to cloud what is most important. You and your excitement about your animals. Jeff and Debbie

It's fine. i understand your concern for their health. I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to make a big thing. i almost feel embarrassed. I shouldn't have put it here. i agree this is the best forum b/c the people on here know what they are doing and it is quite active. I'll just stick to reading other posts. I'm sorry again.

Let it slide. Think about what has been said . Try to understand that there are some bigtime negative feelings about the subject of flipping or brokering in all areas of the pet industry. This was minor compared to what would happen if someone professed this on a dog or cat forum ...minor.
People unloaded on you, some tried to give advice but its the way they give it that seems so harsh and insincere...some people just have that sort of personality and it is consistent . You cannot take it personally or you will never make it. Everyone that replied has their own stuff going on and you just happened along and you got dumped on or at least it feels that way. When you love and breed animals...stuff builds up over time and as breeders sometimes you end up venting on someone who for some reason triggers a download .THAT person may feel cursed but really they get the opportunity to grow and learn from someone with experience no matter how crappy they come across. My advice is to go back and reread it til it doesnt hurt and make some adjustments if you feel you should.
We are all here to learn in this life and sometimes our teachers can be harsh but they still teach . Just gotta learn to buck up and eventually after much practice you will learn to view all input as having some positive info that you can incooporate into all parts of your life...and it wont hurt so much.
Happy New Year!
We are all in this together everyone !

why would you let other peoples opinions determine how you live your life? there are alot of pious, opinionated people that post on these forums who think they know everything! in my opinion, see i guess i'm one of them, your collection is a bit over the top! however, if your animals are healthy and well taken care of then thats the most important thing.
i think there are some valid points that were made that you may want to take a closer look at,such as;
1) are you quarantining new animals
2) are your enclosures secure enough for some of the animals you keep in them
3) possible fire hazzards

i don't think anyone here could argue that you're not a sincere herp enthusiast. i'm sure you're probably working with a limited budget. if you're happy with your setup and your animals are being well taken care of, then rock on, and the he!! with what other people think.

Only you can know how your animals are cared for. And only you know if you are providing for their health and safety. We all know pictures can be deceiving.. don't take it to heart and don't let it make you take action you would have otherwise not done. Good luck to you and happy herping.

Thank you for your support, though, majority rules, I'm wrong. I'm not selling all of them. Just excess stuff.

I'm like getting out of the hobby or anything.

And, yes, most of the cages do have some sort of clip or weight on them. I realize they are very strong animals.
