how many cribos seem to be appearing for sale?? Seems like almost all are WC, but still seems like there has been a big boom in their importation in the last 6 months or so...Is the fault of "The Wall"?

WC Cribos are usually most commonly imported from our Spring to October.
They should be coming in more frequently during the summer months.
Carl, I have nothing to do with that! LOL
I should be getting lots of YT's soon. Maybe some high yellows!

carl, i've been watching this trend for some time...i don't think the numbers imported have actually increased, just the number of them showing up on the net are. and they are almost certainly al wc's. depsite this, they are slowly gaining their niche and the myth that "they are aggressive and non-feeding" is finally dying and their popularity as an indigo "compromise" is on the upsweep. same snake/different locale/different price tag.....but what the hay, let's blame the wall anyway!! WARNING: these thoughts do not apply to wc yt's!! whole different ballgame there! i still cannot bring myself to fully believe that yt's actually belong in the genus drymarchon. everything about them seems so different.........

Of the 4 YT'S I have, only 1 really looks like a Drymarchon...Head shape, strength, scale morphology, body habitus, etc.....Being bitten by one of those guys is nothing next to a Eastern or Texas....(Not to diss' the "Evil Queen"!!!) CG

not to mention their personality differences. seems like a lot of wc yt's are prone to biting and not at all very friendly. p-babe actually stalks me when i'm in her cage, hiding behind things and trying to catch me offguard! she is all business and no bluff and this is a 2 year captive! of course, i never handle her so maybe that's why.....she's only been picked up once and that was by dean last year and that didn't go real well for anybody concerned....she even had herself bleeding! lol....btw carl,on my map colorado looks to be the southern territory of wyoming. ;-].....dannio

of Texas took in the Yellowstone!!! Only part of it, but after the Battle of San Jacinto and Texas freedom, almost all of today's New Mexico was part of Texas, about half of Colorado, and the western portion of Wyoming...CG

just switched an 02 uni to better and broader digs.....she hates it! looking to seriously break out until i dropped a 'throated' p/k mouse in, a rare treat....she usually gets f/t. she slid over it twice then smelled it, saw it, ate it. veni, vici, inhalei. now she's snug as bug in her hide, all thoughts of escape long forgotten. i guess it's true, there's no place like home huh carl? glad you got your texie back. happy memorial! ...dannio
