Off-Topic: When Holiday Boredom Strikes

HappyHillbilly Jan 01, 2009 10:56 PM

Sometimes we get bored with too much time on our hands spending the holidays with family & friends. My wife has as much of a sense of humor as I do, and so do our kids.

The other day my wife ran across an old halloween mask while straightening things up. We had an empty lizard tank sitting around so she decided to try to freighten my mom, who was visiting from FL.

My wife stuffed the mask with newspaper and set it in the old lizard tank. She then placed the tank on a video case in the hallway to scare my mom as she walked by. Got her pretty good.

When I saw what she had done with the mask & tank I suggested making a body for the mask. Everyone else made more suggestions as we went along. I thought the resulting creation was worth sharing with ya'll. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm at peace - I finally know where the lil voices I've been hearing have been coming from.

OK, don't you have a Christmas tree to take down or something?!

Nice creation, there, HH

"OK, don't you have a Christmas tree to take down or something?!"

Nah, my wife's nephew pretty much took it down when he came over for Christmas. (Notice that I said, "...my WIFE'S nephew..." Not blood related to me. Whewwww!!!) Ha! Ha!

If that's where's those lil voices are comin' from I'd be more in fear than at peace LOL

You're right, Quig. The resemblance to "my wife's" nephew is striking.
